The Irith Valley is quite nearly the center of all of Arcus. It is a river valley, with rich, fertile farmland, as well as several towns dotting the shores of the Irith River.
A large palace constructed of the finest red marble, Eastmeadow Keep had long been the home of the royal family of Arcus as well as where they hold court. There is also a fairly large town surrounding it, which shares the palace's name.
Set right at the shore where the mouth of the Irith river flows into the Sea of Arcus, Port Elladir is the most prosperous trading center in the kingdom. The city is rather cramped, and laid out in a labyrinthine pattern, but the locals don't seem to mind one bit.
